Natural Air Freshener

One of your rooms smell a bit, er, stuffy?

That is the case with our laundry, as the cats (yes, adopted two little furballs a few months ago) sleep in there and was beginning to get a funny smell – welcome, to my homemade air freshener!

I used an old jar I had laying around, then I added ¼ cup of baking soda and then approx. 5 drops of my favourite essential oil (I added 3 drops Wild Orange and 2 drops Lemon) into the jar and seal with some fabric and an elastic band (in my case, an old shirt I was going to throw out and a hair tie as silly me took all my elastic bands to school!)

Every once in a while give it a shake to ensure the smell is being released!

Ever since I made one of these, hubby has noted that the laundry doesn’t smell – WINNING!
