Western Australia

Over the Easter break, my family I a few years ago ventured across to Perth in Western Australia for a family holiday.

We stayed at Hillarys Boat Harbour which is only 25 minutes from Perth CBD and has a variety of places to eat, drink and relax. We visited AQWA (The Aquarium of Western Australia), took a trip into Perth and visited the Perth Zoo, and also drove down to Fremantle for lunch one day.

All in all, Perth isn’t exactly what I aim for in a holiday – or it might have been I was with my family who wanted to do boring things, who knows! – but there were some high points to the trip, such as visiting AQWA! Also, I find it very weird how they have their train lines running in the middle of the freeway…

I think my next visit over to the far West will be a bit more North, something like Broome.

Below I will gradually update links to go into further detail on accommodation, places to eat and things to do!
