I love love love this recipe for sticky pork spare ribs. It is ridiculously easy to make and is a hit with everyone who tries it. Instead of cooking in the oven (as per below) I try and cook on the BBQ whenever I can, crisping it up makes it delish.
Also, if you prefer a bit of spice to your meals, add 1 or 2 tablespoons of sweet chilli sauce to the mixture.
1/3 cup barbeque sauce
1/3 cup tomato sauce
3 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, crushed
¼ cup brown sugar
8 pork spare ribs
wedges and salad, to serve
Combine barbeque sauce, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and sugar in a bowl. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Place pork in a large ceramic dish. Pour over sauce mixture and turn to coat. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 4 or 5 hours (or overnight).
Preheat oven to 200°C. Place pork on a wire rack in a large roasting pan lined with baking paper. Roast, basting with remaining marinade and turning occasionally, for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Serve ribs with sides.
